There is something "special" about the cane -

the head is molded stainless steel -

Perhaps he is just happy to have his daughters beside him. :)

I had planned on going, but my granddaughters have a dance recital tomorrow and I HAVE to be there for that.

I'll go next year, recital notwithstanding.
