FINALLY, a picture of the Dozier crew! Bob needs a haircut! Wish there was a pic of their table, I hear it was a hell of a selection. Bob and Dan keep cranking out awesome work.

Great to see a pic of Messers Hendrix and Holder as well, some more makers I wish I could have checked out at the show. Thanks for the great pics.

I look forward to your pictures every year, thank you so much and keep up the great work.

Thanks for the pics!! I hope to make it to my first Blade show within the next couple of years...

Great pictures as always Vincent!
Thanks for coming by the Work Sharp booth to chat with us.

Enviably clear with no 'in your face' flash. Professional grade. Wonderful tour.

Thank you!

Jim/SharpByCoop,

Thank you for your kind words.

Might surprise you that I shoot with a p&s compact (every year).

This year was a Canon G15:

and for the people shots I always fill with the built-in flash -
but "weak" flash at -2/3 flash compensation, and slow-sync to allow in more ambient scene.

eg: this shot of Jerry Fisk has the EXIF data attached:

Camera Maker: Canon
Camera Model: Canon PowerShot G15
Lens: 6.1 - 30.5 mm
Image Date: 2013-05-31 14:18:00 (no TZ)
Focal Length: 6.1mm
Aperture: f/1.8
Exposure Time: 0.040 s (1/25)
ISO equiv: 320
Exposure Bias: -0.33 EV
White Balance: Auto
Flash Fired: Yes (enforced)
Orientation: Normal
Color Space: sRGB

Thanks,

I was unable to attend this year.

Thank you very much for helping me remember some old friends and to put faces to the names of some with whom I have had good dealings, but have never met in person.

As an old film person, I also appreciated you explanation of your work methods; maybe there is something to this digital stuff.
