Though I could only go today, Friday, the show was awesome! Sooooo many vendors, I couldn't get to them all. As always some very original and unique blades which I really enjoy discovering. A nice change from the usual blades. One that comes to mind is an all titanium blunt tip tanto style from Crusador Forge. Metal detector proof! Soooo stinking light. I almost caved at $400. I guess he makes very few of these. Almost bought a Mini Praetorian as well, but held off. Just soooo dang pricey! Maybe I can find a nice used one on here. Anyway, just had to brag a bit. Wished I could attend tomorrow. Next year I'll be back for 2 days at least... And bring more fundage.

Peace out

Things tend to become sort of a blurr after a while with the custom knife makers. There are so many there that you really need to pick and choose who you visit rather than just wandering down the isles and stopping at nearly every one. You can certainly spend $1000 easily there without much effort.

It was the first time that I attended that I didn't buy a custom or handmade knife. I guess part of the problem was that I simply didn't feel very good yesterday.

I have always wondered why you don't see a Bark River dealer selling there. Noticed (or failed to notice?) that SOG did not attend. Not a big deal to me, but the manufacturers tend to have a booth.

Added: Glad you enjoyed your first Blade Show experience. It is a bit over whelming which is why attending two days rather than one is a good idea.

Congrats on your first show. One day I hope to go but since my wife and I don't take many vacations and she has zero interest in knives, it isn't an option in the near future.
