Another BLADE Show has come an passed. It was such a great time and even better to be able to see folks that I rarely get to see, friends I see often, and meet so many of you for the first time. This was a great year and I cannot express in words the grattitude I have for all of the support that was shown in person and online during the weekend and all the time leading up to the event.

This weekend I also went ahead and submitted my application the Knifemakers Guild. I started getting my approvals and signatures a month or so ago and now the plans are to head to Kansas City in September for my Probationary Member judging. I hope some of you will be able to make it to the show. I have alot of work to do in preparation of judging, so wish me luck!

Unforunately, I did not take many pictures over the weekend, so, if you attended, please share any photos you managed to take or what you were able to haul in.

Thanks again everyone!!!! Hope to see ya soon!

Thank you for being there! Your table was my first stop and it took me all of 10 seconds to fall in love with one. I'm still giddy every time I open the case and look at it. I think that I am going to wear out the zipper.

Thank you for coming by! If i am not mistaken, you grabbed the red magma huntsman

I'm glad to see that you had a good Blade Show. It was awesome meeting you in person finally. I'm definitely coming by the shop next time I'm in Georgia which will be soon. I had a great time at Blade as well and the Outlander just made the weekend that much better. It was the main reason I got the early bird ticket. :D
Really wish I could've spent more time there. The Instagram posts were killing me as I was traveling home. :D
Awesome news about the Knifemakers Guild. Definitely post the details and with any luck I'll be in the area for that as well.
I didn't take any pictures at Blade for no good reason but I did take a few right when I got home.

It was great to meet you! I really enjoyed talking with you, and am very proud to own the beautiful kitchen knife. (My wife might even let me use it once in a while!) I wish you much success with your Knifemakers Guild application, although based on the quality of your work I am sure you will do just fine. My / my wife's knife is still in transit via UPS, but as soon as it gets here I will take some pics and post them.

Again, thanks for making me a great knife! I am already looking forward to my next WAS purchase.

BTW, Onedog, that is a simply epic knife. Cheers!

OneDog,

A while back the crew at Fiddleback recommended somewhere Howard's Feed and Wax as a treatment for wood scales. I use it on my bog oak, and the wood just seems to drink it up. You might want to check it out. Leave it on for a bit, then I rub it in with my fingers, then buff it lightly with a soft cloth. Gives that bog oak a luster and depth you wouldn't believe!

Thanks Luca. I'll definitely pick some up. I certainly got me a good bunch of wood scales. :D
