Blade Show is in full swing and has been a good one so far. First knife sold was an E.W. Stone Knife. Had a couple of BK29's and those also sold quickly. Ethan was manning his usual spot in the KA-BAR booth and was busy all day. Bladite and Moose have done a great job; we are missing Guyon and DerekH. Saturday is generally the busiest day of the show. Ethan brought his Kephart knife and did a great rundown for us. You can watch the video at any of the links below. For those of you unable to join us this weekend I will keep you posted. I also encourage anyone at the show to post here as well.

Blade Show has ended and boy was it a good one. I meant to post yesterday but we were delayed most of the night and walked in the door at 4am this morning. The joys of travel ... This is was one of the best attended Blade Shows I have been to, both in foot traffic and knives sold. Ethan is always a draw and he didn't disappoint all of the folks who patiently waited to chat with him. I think most expect a quick hello and maybe a photo. They are pleasantly surprised that Ethan takes the time to chat and get to know them. Those of us here know that is just the kind of guy he is and why he is so beloved. Moose and his daughter were a great help at the booth - she works harder than the rest of us combined! Bladite helped us at the booth and kept me posted on what was going on around the room (drinking out of my new glow in the dark, silicone glass as we speak). The only unfortunate part of the show was we were so busy there wasn't a lot of time to check out what was going on or to do much shopping. It certainly beats the alternative, though. I didn't come home empty handed - stay tuned.

Thanks for the update OKB. Sounds like it was a good show. I hope to get there next year. The wife and I are planning a weekend trip upstate to Olean.

Friday & Saturday were a zoo!
had a blast - drove through the night (with a 2 hour nap 60 miles S of St Louis) and got home at noon today.
wish I could have spent more time talking to folks at the booth and bummed that I never made it over to GG to pick up a silicone pint for my grace-impaired wife!

How much did the E.W. Stone Knife sell for? Thanks

Glad to hear it went well for you guys. I dropped in and saw a few of the models I was on the fence about, and somehow landed across from you guys to the OKC booth and left with a Rat 3. What was I thinking...

Well, it seems I came to my senses. Just picked up a Becker BK9 and a BK7 this week. Now I can drop in officially as a Ka Bar/Becker client and say hello :) I will definitely be going again this year. Would like to meet Ethan and the rest of the Kabar/BK&T crew
