Jared came out the day before to help out with some sheaths for the last Field Knives. Much appreciated. If you've never met him, he is a tall fellow.

I usually get a picture of our table once we get it set up, but things just went bananas and I never really got set up so I didn't get any good pictures this year.

Here's a snap shot

and a better picture of those folders Mark was working on.

We ran into Brad Stallsmith.

if you don't know him, he is the heart and mind behind the cutlery division of Peter's Heat treat. In my opinion they are the best at what they do.

That's Nicole

She won the woman's world cutting championship last year and did it again this year. Congrats Nicole!

We ran into Dan

That's Travis behind him.

Dan and I are true professionals. Focused and mature, we really have our act together

He really is a terrifying individual when you really look at him. He looks like he evolved from a line of apes that didn't develop tools to hunt, but simply tore game apart bare handed. I look like I'm smiling, but that's just Keffeler pheromones causing me to involuntarily bare my teeth.

We also ran into Matt

We ended up going out to dinner with Matt and Mike. Thanks for dinner Mike!

Thanks everybody who came by and visited us! I wish I could have got more pictures and talked more to folks, but it got pretty busy there for a little while.

We had a wonderful time and hope you did too. If you have any pictures or stories you'd like to share, you're welcome to put them here. Thank you so much for an excellent Blade Show 2017!

^ Seconded. Thank you so much for sharing so that some of us live vicariously through these pictorials

P.S. For the GoT geeks, Nathan is holding the mock of Eddard "Ned" Stark's sword named Ice. Dan Keffeler is probably holding one of his own in Valyrian steel while sitting on the Iron Throne ;)

It was great to meet you and Jo, figured out who y'all were last year but didn't introduce myself since it was at the end of the show.
This year I got to introduce myself and buy a light chopper, which I'm liking so far after trimming up some trees around the house yesterday. I'm not a very chatty person but I will have had some time to use your knives between now and the next Blade show, so I may be more chatty then, good or bad.

I'd say next year is gonna be bigger and better for you then this year, especially with the way your line of knives is expanding.
Y'all will have a booth at the show before you know it.

I found out this year that the Blade Show can still be alot of fun when followed on Bladeforums, comment by comment. What a great show you guys had. Amazing how fast the knives went! Congratulations!

I never realized how attractive I am from that angle.

Good times.

Dan Keffeler is my hero. Someday I hope to weigh as much as his right arm.

Jo is an angel, and I genuinely don't understand how she manages to tolerate me, much less Nathan. Perhaps with the two of us juxtaposed, she finds value in us.

By juxtaposed, I mean placed close to one another to offer contrast, not interchanged for one another, which is an incorrect definition.

OT observation from the Dan Keffeler photo on the Iron Throne. See those tree trunks for legs, kids? That's where the actual power comes from! Case in point: don't skip leg days when going to the gym!

^^^ Although I'm not much into hunky chunky pieces for folders to carry as EDC while wearing shorts in So. Cal, that said if I were to adorn my cargo shorts' pockets with a badass looking EDC in D3V, that above would be it. Can someone tell us the weight, OAL, BL plus price/availability please? In other words, details, details, details! Thank you.

I would be remiss if I did not mention that the CPK Potato Annihilator Knife seemed to have been missing from the bevvy presented at Blade 2017

Yes, that UF was a beauty. It was discussed at great length in the forum as to whether it was dark osage or cocobolo, lol. It was a beauty!

I wish I knew Matthew better so that I could tease him about his smirk, it's got me LMAO! Dude's got it down :D
