I’m flying to Atlanta this morning! Who is going? Is there a spot where the locals from the Porch meet up?

I hope I get to put more names to faces!

I sit at my desk not quite 8 miles from the Cobb Galleria as I type this, but I have obligations with my Niece and soon to be Nephew who's wedding I will be officiating later this year that will keep me away from Blade another year.
I hope everyone attending has a great time and finds the knife of their dreams!

I haven't been since 2006 and I miss it a lot.. Have a great time to the fortunate ones!. Please take lots of pix to show later..

I will be there with my 4 year old on Friday and Saturday with my cousin. Look for esnyxs table

I'd love to go, but I can't this year. Does it fall on the same date every year? I have graduation responsibilities tomorrow evening, so even if I had planned ahead I wouldn't be free.

Advantage of living an hour North of the show makes it easy to go. Downside of working in the healthcare field is trying to get a day off. I'll be at the Pit Friday night and at the show on Saturday, possibly Sunday.

I was planning to go, but not going to make it this year due to some health issues. Next year I'm going to try again!

I had plans to go this year, but someone had to captain the Heart Association team walk for our company this year. I guess that was me, oh well. Maybe next year...

Sorry, Charlie, I forgot to even take some pics, it is so busy.
Never caught up with Mike anywhere, had to be record crowds Friday and Saturday.
Most expensive folder I saw was an old Ron Lake for 16k!
Esnyx was there, a bit under the weather but his knives do not disappoint!
I found a few that followed me home, will try to get pics up tomorrow.

WHERE ARE THE PICTURES EVERYBODY??? This show used to yield a massive load of pix in the past.....Or has it been taken over by nothing but Moderns??:eek::eek:

Lots of modern tacticool offerings for sure, but I noticed some custom traditionals as well. I spent most of my time browsing the private collections because I'm only looking to trade for the most part. There were a few that I really wanted to bring home, but if I started pulling out cash instead of sticking to trade, I'd probably find my knives and the rest of my belongings out on the lawn when I got home. Fortunately, there were some vendors with really nice pieces that were open to trading. Here's what I got:

- The Cussins & Fearn Co. cattle knife
- Kerry Hampton Khnutbuster
- Doc Hagen lockback whittler
- Puma Prince in stag

Very nice set of knives. What is the closed length of the Khnutbuster?

I love the look of those Pumas, but I don’t know anything about what to look for when shopping for one online. I’ve never been fortunate enough to see one in person.
