BLADE SHOW 2019

I've seen a fair few people saying that they are going.
Maybe if I win the lottery I'll join them.
 
Thought about it but I'd have to blow at least $1k on air fare, food/lodgings and a car for the weekend BEFORE even adding in the amount spent on knives THEN there's what to do w/the knives when I buy them; probably have to ship them to myself via USPS Priority Mail to avoid the hassle at the airport and risk of lost luggage.

Call it at least $2k for the trip. I can buy many more knives from the comfort of my home for that amount of $. Skipped the Portland show for basically the same reason. So, no, I'm not going and don't think I ever will unless they hold one in CA. :(
 
Not going to make it this year....but I have a quick ? for you Marianne. Would you happen to have any updates on the Kaguya model? I've been looking forward to that one for awhile! Thank you!
 
I'd like to go but I don't go anywhere near Georgia unless it's 30 plus thousand feet in the air

That's something I was worrying about. I have some knives to sell, and it's possible I may buy some, and don't like the idea putting them in a check in bag on a plane.
 
I am going. Not seeing much talk of Blade show this year at all.
 
I'll have a table this year for my unique composites for scales (Chatoyant Carbon Fiber - CF molded to look like wood figure, but with chatoyance on par with Tiger Eye, and Dichrolam - a resin composite that looks like Black Opal). Table 36A.
