Blade Show 2019

I will be there. Doesn't seem to be much fan fair for Blade this year.
I would like to know if CRK are going to have any show only models.

I’ll be there again this year. I have learned some valuable pieces of advice about attending the Blade Show....first, make a list. Really. (If there’s ever been a knife that you’ve wanted but weren’t sure about how it would look or feel in person, this is the time to try it in hand.) Second, expect to spend more money than you planned, and budget for this accordingly. Third, if you have knives to sell or trade, bring them along. Lots of side deals get made between folks. Lastly, it’s a good idea to check out the floor plan ahead of time so you’ll have some idea of which vendor booths you want to check out first.

It’s an overwhelming experience, and it’s easy to get blinded by all the pretty sharp pointy things on display. Having a list of priorities has helped me to stay on track.

ETA: Comfortable shoes and a backpack are strongly recommended!

I will be there this year..arriving on the 6th
Maybe I will bring along a few pieces to trade, sell..Whatever
Will spend quite alot of time at the CRK booth..maybe helping out here and there.

Room booked, flight booked...early bird tickets...bring on the drinks.

I used to attend regularly.... My advice is pick the brands you're most interested in, prioritize, get there as early as you can get in... be prepared to buy... Don't think you can come back later and a knife will still be there, JUMP ON IT!You can always flip one or 2 while there if you see something you like better....

Lots of great advice, I've been attending Blade for 30+ years, it is always overwhelming. I'll be helping a dealer friend at table 14A, come by and visit.

Sounds like quite the vicious circle! You make a budget which is the money you plan to spend...then you expect to spend more than that, so you have to adjust your budget...which is then the money you plan to spend... ;)

I really thought this would be my year for my first Blade Show... but it’s my little bro’s 40th birthday next weekend so I’m flying to Ohio to party with him instead. Good and bad but it stings a little more to not be able to check out the new 31.
