I will be there. Is anyone from this forum attending?
(Did you mean "DID"?? )I spent Friday at Blade Show. It was my second year attending. This year I had an early bird ticket. I jumped in line at about 6 AM and there were probably 250-300 people already in line. I wasn't really after anything specific but grabbed a couple moderns (Pro Tech Malibu, Koenig Arius). The show is light on GEC but I (didn't) grab a few. The GEC 36 SFAs from last year have the federal shield and the 54 is the DLT SFO but in Cocobolo (Jason from DLT said they only made 10).
Really looking forward to my first GEC Rendezvous next week and getting a chance to meet many of you.
Rick

As far as I can tell GEC was the only GEC dealer that had GECs. DLT sold their SFO online but had some at the show to sell. They also had the cocobolo model which was only available at the show (10 total made is what they said). Most of the GECs are at the smaller vendors selling older knives so you kinda have to hunt around. I hope that helps, RickDo most dealers reserve special GEC's for Blade Show that they wouldn't sell online?
Sorry, I meant DLT is the only GEC dealer. I'm moving too fast today. As far as I can tell GEC was the only GEC dealer that had GECs. DLT sold their SFO online but had some at the show to sell.
