Blade Show and CRKT.

Guys,

I understand that CRKT is a big sponsor of the Blade Show. However, that should not mean that they are given awards for knives that clearly do not deserve the award. I guess i just disagree with some of the decisions that were made regarding awards. I am definitely a fan of CRKT and everything they have done for the knife community, but like i said. It seems fishy to me. I just wanted to rant on that a bit. If any of you disagree, feel free to let me know. That is all.

CRKT won most innovative import, accessory of the year, and best buy of the year. I think that there are much better choices for each of these categories. We are not going into all of that though. That is not what this is about. This is about the relationship between CRKT and Blade Show and how Blade Show may be showing a little favoritism due to the sponsorship.
 
I really feel like they didn't deserve any of the awards. CRKT's QC is ridiculous. Like i said, they have done alot and there are certain models that i enjoy but none are deserving of an award. Are you guys telling me that you agree that CRKT should have received all three of the awards?

They didn't win an award for QC, so that has nothing to do with what they won.
I don't know if they deserved these awards or not, and frankly I just don't care. Don't let it bother you.

It seems like you're looking for an argument. You should have started this in W&C so it would at least be interesting.
 
Wouldn't be the first time a Ken Onion design won an award, would you feel the same about one of his Kershaw branded designs?

I was not trying to start an argument. Merely trying to collect feedback regarding the relationship between Blade Show and CRKT and how maybe, JUST MAYBE there was some favoritism shown. This thread is heading south due to subjective thought processes.
