Anyone happen to have a list of who won awards and got JS/MS stamps at blade? I've seen a few names mentioned in various threads, but I've yet to see a complete list.

Well we can start making our own list from zero!

Sfreddo was also awarded the first and second places for the Peke award.

Since when is there a first and second for the Peck award??? You either get it or you don't.

Good question from our friend Nick here. Anyone?

Jon Christensen won the Peck award when he made js, and he got the B.R. Hughes award when making MS last Friday. I believe he is the third or fourth person do this. Congatulations Jon!

Well I was told that one of his knives was considered the best of the JS group and another of his knives was considered the second best of all too. Not sure if that provides two certificates... I might check on that and get back to you.

It's quite possible. There were four MS stamps awarded this year and I don't know who the fourth is. There were 15 JS stamps awarded, so it appears that list is still incomplete as well.

By the way, if memory serves, Lin also won this years Antique Bowie knife award.

this list isn't complete - it's just what people have posted in this thread and others so far - apologies if i confused matters.

Thanks for the mention guys. There were 16 new JS certificates (out of 20 testers) this year and 4 (out of 6) MS certificates. I can't member the name of the gentleman from Brazil who won the Peck award but, Jon's dagger which netted him the BR was breathtaking.

Yep, I'm one of the lucky new ABS Journeyman. What a great show!
Here's me and the others (top row, second from the left with Mace just to my left).

Gotta mention to the Rusty Polk won the honor of making the JS knife of the year for '07. You lucky dog Rusty.
;)

Now, if some one would post a pic of the group of the master smiths, that would be great.
Congratulations to all as I know it is a lot of work and stress.
