Looks like lots of great stuff coming out this year. I hope to pick up a Translucent Manix 2, among others.

the tilt looks like an insane knife, CF/Ti that crazy new steel! i wonder what the street price will be...

MSRP is only $350 so for what you're getting, it's not a ridiculous price.
I have a feeling it'll be like the Volt/Speedform thing where once they hit shelves it'll be a mad rush to pick up the few that aren't already spoken for.

i meant insane in the sense of design, it looks cool. but i sure do hope it isnt a limited run like the volt and speedform.

I wasn't there when anounced, but I would be shocked if CRK didn't win the "Manufacturer of the year" as they always do.

I heard the CRK Ti-Lock won "Overall Knife of the Year". Not 100%positive though.

I'd like to see some more pics of the CRK Ti-Lock. Looks very interesting.
Manix 2?? I swear when I was on Spyderco's site the other day it was listed as discontinued?

Thanks for the info Sidman.

Honestly, my first impression handling the CR Ti Lock was not a positive one. :( It seemed fiddley, unnatural, and actually a bit unsecure to me. :-\ I also didn't like there there wasn't a single, obvious way to open it. The "thumb studs" were located in an oddly low place... the other option was to use the break between the blade and that blue bar as a thumbnail nick. Either way, I didn't feel it to be a one-handed knife, which is a negative to me; personal opinion.

It's interesting to look at but odd in application. ...but then again, so was the transition between abacus to slide rule to calculator.... time will tell. :)
