Those of you headed to the show, we'll see you there! We've got a great selection of folders, fixed blades, new pens, a cool new antique finish for our copper products, lots of cool stuff for you to check out so stop by and say hi!

man I can tell its gonna be a quiet one around here until everyone gets settled! kinda boring for the rest of us!! wheres the live webcast from the booth?!?! haha jk. for real tho guys, bust those smartphones and tablets and laptops out, lets keep the board rockin while yall are away from home! (easier said than done right?) just feeding off all the good vibes around here...next year, Ill be there too! ;)

safe travels everyone!!

I may not get many pics up during the show, but I will snap some over the weekend and get them posted next week. Normally there are a few folks that do a great job of keeping everyone up to date on cool show happenings. Start planning your 2014 trip!

For those not going but wanting to and thinking of a plan to afford it that does not impact funds all at once...remember my suggestion I've posted a few times to tuck a few bucks back on a regular basis.

Start now with $20 in an envelope with Blade 2014 written in the outside...continue to place $20-25/week into the envelope. In six months color it up and continue funding it. One year later it's at least a grand toward the cause.

Never been to a knife show. I know with Gun shows folks line up early to get in. I received a vip pass from a local vendor and plan on showing up at 11:30 to get in at noon. Is there generally a line at these types of shows or just walk right in? :)

I havnt been bro, but i would suspect a huuuuge line, maybe even 1-200 ppl?
In line? (Atleast?) Thats the way i imagine it anyway! :D you gotta figure 200
+ attending for just ricks lottery alone...im assuming itll be massive. I hope ppl post some pics so i can feel it out for next year. ;)

Tomorrow is the Big Day, Hoping some Members hit it Big in the Auction - Sending positive MoJo in the direction of Atlanta via the BF connection.

Got some pics from the show but can't get em to post from my Dropbox. Was awesome watching the lottery. Didn't win but managed to pic up my first Hinderer from a vendor at a very fair price. I can email pics if someone cares to post. Shoot me an email at david@dprichard.com. First time meetin Rick, Rob and the guys. What a great bunch!

Congrats! Sounds like a successful and enjoyable trip already and it's onlt Saturday morning.

Is the only way to get a Hinderer at Blade direct from Hinderer to win the Lottery?

I hit the lotto on friday!! Got a production xm-18 digicam 3.5 stonewashed s35vn spanto with a dlc coated lockside and liner. Literally was about to leave, as I NEVER win anything, and then BAM! Got the man himself to autograph the box and engrave his signature on the blade.
FWIW Rick is a really nice guy and is surprisingly approachable for being auch a "big name" in the industry. Thanks again Rick!
