So as of right now we will be moving to Asheville nc and trying to get a place on 1of the rivers or up in the mountains with some land or backs up to a national or state park and get a horseshoe pit, shooting range and a couple targets for hawk and knife throwing... A buddy said if I have the space and land we should organize a busse and kin camp out since Asheville is 3-4 hour drive...there will be guns, knives, drinking and such so this may not be a child appropriate environment plus I have a large dog that plays rough and doesn't really like kids or men so he will be leashed and kept away from camp if your a girl your safe he will love you to death....right now this is just an idea that may happen this year but more than likely 2015....I'd first off like to know if and how many would be interested in this idea this could be a 1 night thing or for the duration of blade

:thumbup:Sounds like fun dude! Unfortunately I won't be able to make blade this year. Hopefully next year!:)

Sounds like a good time :) This will be my first Blade Show and I think I will be driving. Once I figure out Blade show and how that works, I might be interested in swinging by. Although I hear a vacation is needed after attending Blade Show lol:D:D

Blade'll probably forever elude me, as I've got too many "special occasions" in June, but I'm about an hour & 15 east of Asheville. Might be up for a meet & greet sometime or another. If you're movin' to Ashevegas, buy stock in Patchoulie! You'll retire a rich man!

Oh, and yeah, Pisgah Nat'l forest is awesome! I love campin' in the Lynnville gorge. And make sure you eat at Juicy Lucy's! You'll thank me!

I doubt the show schedule will ever give me time to get away but I would love to come and camp out.

Each day, when the Show is over, many folk commence to drinking. This has been known to go on until dawn. Then the cycle repeats. That doesn't leave much time to drive 4 hours away, to drink there instead. And then drive 4 hours back.

Having said that, I have spent just a little time in the western NC mountain area, and really liked it. If I get back that way, I would love to spend some time shooting, throwing knives, and generally messing around with Busse knives and Busse fans. And drinking. Don't forget the drinking.
