So unfortunately after a good time with family barbecuing Saturday night and turning in early to avoid any extra spending. I woke up 6am to take my dog for a hike. Got my things ready and headed out the door. Walked to the end of my driveway and it hit me no car parked in my spot. I looked up and down my street hoping it was just a sick joke and nothing! Displeased as anyone could be called the local police department made a report. Only to hear that this area has been being hit with the highest rate of crime in years. Best thing is my family convinced me to only have liability coverage because we live in a "Nice" neighborhood..... So no Coverage = No Money for another car.... Now all my funds are going to buy my next set of wheels, and no money to get to blade or buy Nada!!!

Sorry to hear it. I hope your next model brings you great joy. I know how it feels to be treated that way. Luckily it sounds like it won't put you out for too long.

Really sorry man, keep your head up.
Sounds like you have your health and family, which counts for a lot.

Yes I am blessed with good health and a loving family. Next vehicle will be 94-97 Dodge Cummins! Going to make sure and have several kill switches on that SMH

That's not good regardless of what the Neighborhood is supposed to be....Sorry to hear about your missing wheels...:(

in a related story my nearest neighbor works for the railroad in El Paso Texas and where they park is open to all traffic....He has had 3 trucks stolen in the last 12 years...its an easy
hop across the border to Mexico less than 10 minute drive!!! He has decided to buy used beater vehicles that have no parts value for the chop shops....

Sorry to hear about the car. Atleast you are safe. Good luck with the next vehicle and we will see you at another show.

My younger brother lives in El Paso, and he had his pickup stolen a couple of years ago. It doesn't matter where you live or how nice the neighborhood is, keep doors locked and have insurance! After all, it is in the "nicer" neighborhoods where there is nicer stuff to steal!!!!! I live in a fairly nice neighborhood, but I grew up in Gary, Indiana and was taught by my parents to lock doors at all times! I've lived places where people couldn't understand why I always locked my car/truck doors and my apartment/house, but that was just the way I was raised. I also carry a gun at ALL times where it is legal to do so, including at home. After all, 100% of home invasions occur at home!:D

Good advice JDE.

Sorry to hear about your vehicle Alex, but at least you and your family are OK. I was looking forward to meeting you at Blade, but maybe we can meet next year.

i am really sorry for you! damn thieves

3years ago a whole team tried to break into my home to get the keys to my new car - they already opened my girlfriends car... while we were watching - i stepped out onto my terrace with my 1911 - and they ran off really fast... - police arrived 30min later...

Sucky news dude... You could sell a couple choil-less basic 10s... ;) there prolly won't be anything cool at blade anyhow....

Wow that stinks ! Thieves really suck !
So your going for a 12valve great engine ! Going for a stick or auto ? Best of luck with your search for your new ride:thumbup: To bad up here there's usually nothing left to the trucks from rust , their great trucks ! Post some pics when you get it

Well crap...damn. Frikkin' hate thieves, sorry to hear that some POS jackhole took your wheels, man. :(
I was looking forward to meeting you IRL at the Show too, hopefully that can happen at the next one.
May your next vehicle be the best you've ever had.

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry to hear about that. Do you think there is a chance that they will find your car somewhere? Have the other people who had issues had any luck in getting their cars back?

Damn! Sorry to hear that man. I know how it feels. When I was in college, after a loooong day, I was walking to where I parked my car....but no car!! It was really a kick in the gut, but it's a lot worse when it happens in your own driveway. Best of luck with your new set of wheels.

Officer said most likely not because so many people steal 90's model Hondas and Acura they out number the officers looking for them. He said that officers in my area are ALL WAYS running license and vin numbers of vehicles like mine

Less and less honesty and work ethic in the world today.

I certainly hope that everything works out for you man. I was only joking about selling off your blades. Seems pretty innapropriate considering.

Good luck with getting wheels between you and the road again.

Glad no ones hurt eh?

Good luck!
