I'm posting this here (instead of the Gallery) because it seems relevant to this forum. ;)

Oh, and I'm not selling them......not here, anyway....

I will have a handful of these on hand at the Blade Show. Perhaps not everybody's cup-o-tea, but sure makes a handy knife for me.

This was the first blade I profiled out of a bar of steel back in 2001.........it's the first design I "put to paper".....and it's been sitting on a shelf since then.....:(....waiting for the right time.

Well, with some encouragement from fellow knifemaker & friend Tom Krein, I got off my duff and whipped these pups out.

Enough talk....

(this one is mine...the rest are similar...email if you want specs/details...don't want to post them here...trying to keep this spam free) :p

I want to thank anyone and everyone for helping me realize a dream - becoming a bonified knifemaker. This forum has been a great roosting place for us all, and sometimes I feel like I have benefited the most. But it's not entirely selfish...I try to give back as much as I receive, but I never seem to be able to catch up.

Anyway, I'm heading out to the Blade Show tomorrow morning at O-dark-30....hope to meet up with a few of you there!

After I saw your Mooseknife in that passaround, I knew you had the gift. Glad to see you living out your dreams.

Dan,
Gotta say that those look good. The etch turned out very nice! These are stout little knives with a full convex grind very nicely done. Where are the pics of those fantastic chef knives? Lets see them.

Tom

Knice knife. Love the cho. It made me think "there's a little kukri in all knives, just trying to get out." :)

Attractive knife, and the cloth tape is quite attractive!

I predict it will sell well. Certainly attractive enough.

Best of luck!

Noah

Yup, the K.I.S.S. principle works every time, I approve.:D It's just that sometimes we crave a bit more even if it is not needed.;)

Thanks guys. Hope they sell ok!

Heading out to the show.....
