I am already looking forward to Blade Show 1012! The entire experience of it all makes memories to last forever. I enjoy getting to meet everyone face to face and the fun and happy environment.

I would like to hear what your first impressions of the Blade Show were, whether good or bad.

Any suggestions or ideas for the show this year? ( I want Rob Stanley to rock out for us in between offerings. Fog machines...lights...dancers coming down from the ceiling... )

BRING ON BLADE '12!!!!!!!!!!

First Impression(last year) = AWESOME, ILL NEVER MISS ANOTHER. Thanks for making it that much awesomer Busse Combat.

I've never been at a Blade or any knife show.
Is Blade the show to be at for hogs? If so, I need to find the schedule so I can make arrangements to go this year.

Last year was my first Blade and I had a fantastic time. Looking at knives, meeting new friends, drinking beer AND Amy-O! I'll never miss another one if I can help it.

June 8-10 this year. Time to gather a list of other attractions in the area so I have an excuse to give to my wife to go together.

See you folks there.

BLADE is the be all, end all of knife shows. Anyone who has never been there really needs to go and experience it atleast once. From thursday night thru sunday it is a none stop party. Hope to see everyone there.

Garth

I made my reservation first thing this morning! Many times I wake up thinking about Blade and all the fun.

My first Blade was in 07', and at first I felt a little odd and kind of like a stranger. Then I walked up to the Busse booth, met Dan and Jerry, and was introduced to Mrs.B. I was immediately made to feel like family, and I enjoyed myself greatly. I'm really looking forward to this year!!!

Blade is amazing. I have done a show or two over the last few years and Blade is by far the best.
Except when I do a video a week before and find a nice big vine of POISON IVY. :(

Bring on the B-12

Living locally I've been kicking myself for not attending a Blade show before last year. Was fun to meet people and have a few beers at Jocks n Jills. I'm looking forward to it this year.

My first Blade was 2010. We loved every second of it. So much so, we flew half way around the planet a second time in 2011 to do it all again! If you're into knives, people and great times, then this is a definite 'must do' before you fall off the perch. :)

So who's up for a jam??!!!

I would go just to see Rob Stanley:D. I've seen the pics:p

Thats one funny dude:thumbup:

My first show was 2008 I loved it so much I returned for 2009 and 2010 and was really disappointed that I couldn't make it last year. Unless my situation changes I won't make it again this year but soon as I am financially able I plan to return. I also want to make Knob Creek at least once. If you have never been you owe it to yourself to go at least once, a good time WILL be had.

My first impression was "damn, these people are a little crazy". Second though was "if you want a knife, don't be afraid to be loud and throw a shoulder or two, maybe even head butt some people". Third thought was "I want to come to every Blade show for the rest of my life" (or at least the 2012 show since the world ends in December.

Fog machines...lights...dancers

That has the potential to be really awesome. Dancers

I made my reservations last year ( I think I booked the room in September or so)! After missing 11 ( my first was 10) I made sure I was going year. Works out nice though, going to be flying in from Paris straight to Atlanta ( getting married on May 26th, flying to London that day, seeing the sights for a few days, doing a 3 day Doctor Who tour of England, then going to Paris for a few days) on that Thursday before Blade, hope to have enough in the tank to hit Fogos with everyone, the 3 days of knives, food and booze, heck yeah, can't wait! And with all that, I'm going to do my best to be at the front of the line on Friday, see younguys ( and girls) there!

ETA ( a few fun ideas) how bout a shop credit drinking contest, or a shop credit for the person who hangs out Friday night the longest ( a shutem down bonus)

ETA again, just noticed it's a bit of a rambling post, the point is, Blade is so much fun that I've been kicking myself for an entire year for missing 2011! really looking forward to this year

For any of the new guys that think they are going to score big at the through this year, they may want to ask anyone that was there last year what happens when you mess with a certain Hogette. :D Don't let the pretty smile fool you, she has no problem dropping a shoulder like an NFL fullback.

Last year me and my ole ladies anniversary fell on blade show so I did just that. However, if you hang around the busse clan, you can pretty much kiss those other plans goodbye(thanks Amy and Bully:thumbup:) Luckily, our anniversary is on the last day of blade this year so we might actually get to do something she wants to do this time. But dont get me wrong with the last statement, she also had a great time, Busse Combat knows how to show the ladies a good time. Dont miss it man, you will regret it if you do.
