This was delivered to me Friday morning by a most wonderful gentleman, maker and friend. Needless to say I was left totally speechless when it was handed to me - I know I didn't properly thank the maker - I will be sending him a proper thank you for honoring me with a knife of this quality and beauty. Here are the specs:

Blade length: 9"
Overall length: 14"
Blade steel: 1095
Fittings: heat-blued damascus
Handle: Australian ringed gidgea

Balance and feel of this knife are incredible!

Apologize for poor pics - don't have proper lighting set-up or light box yet but think you'all be able to see it okay.

Bill

Here's one showing close-up of the handle - this wood is gorgeous! I admit I am prejudiced.

And last one showing the incredible hamon - shows up in pic but have to see it first-hand to truely appreciate just how good it is.

Oh by the way if you haven't figured it out the maker is Don Fogg - a truly wonderful person & friend! I want to send my heartfelt thanks to Don for this!!!

BIll, it was great to meet you. You should be very proud of that Fogg. A beautiful piece indeed!!!! Keith will go NUTS!;)

Wow.... This is gorgeous. Congratulations - those are hard to come by.

I got to see and play with this knife in person Friday.Man it is absolutely beautiful and flawless,Mr. Don Fogg does some real Kick Butt work.I can only hope I will reach his level of craftsmanship some day..

Congrat's on recieving this beauty.

What an absolutely stunning knife. I am green with envy, but very happy for you.

Bruce, congratulations on becoming a JS, good for you.

Thanks everybody - those pics do not do the knife justice. I know Don appreciates the kind words - craftsmanship on the knife is as fine as any I've seen other than the sword he did for the Auction. If I can't get some decent lighting I'm going to have to get Terril to take some pics.

Bruce - you will get there, no question!

Bill brought his new Fogg knife over to my table at the show. It is an awesome knife Bill.

Now I have to to come up with something really sweet for Christmas for Bill that will be in the same league hopefully as the Fogg piece. I will be giving it my best shot Bill. That block of ringed gidgee is gonna be the icing on the cake.

Bill,

It was nice meeting you in Atlanta and seeing that beautiful Fogg in person!
