Routine visit to family doctor today for checkup. Told him about my left lower leg swelling tightly a few weeks ago, then becoming normal again. Calf still very sore to touch. Foot numb for a few weeks now. Tight sensation under right breast and shortness of breath. Had a day and half of sharp pain in this region couple of weeks ago.

He came to the sensible conclusion that this was all related and that a blood clot in left leg had gone into right lung. Sent me to emergency room post haste.

After almost all day of x-rays, multiple blood tests, two EKG's, and sonograms on left leg, the conclusion was, no blood clot. Probably left leg problems due to my continuing back problems and chest probably a residual thing from a viral infection. But, could be cardiac.

Knowing my family doctor, he will not rest until something definitive is decided. I hope it doesn't run over into dates for Blade.

In any case, if I make Blade it will be with the aid of a power chair due to my back problems. Dang, those things make me feel old.

Heck, with my 70th birthday on June 11, I am getting old. If I make it, take it easy on the feeble old geezer at the trough.

Get better soon Mike, if you make it to Blade I will help you get whatever you want.

Check into the sciatic nerve thingy. Started in my left lower back and over time all the way down to the left foot.
2 weeks physio therapy and all gone.
Too much monotonous training was the cause. Others have different causes. But the fixes are similar.
Chest tightness might be unrelated. Maybe a cold?

I wish that this was just well played hog trough trickery to get dibs at the tables, but alas, I fear not.
Take care Mike and best wishes to your good health!

Hope you are feeling better soon Mike.
Hey, bring that chair, it could prove to be a decided advantage. With your wingspan and your motorized battering ram you could clean up. I'll follow you and maybe I'll pick up a few as well.
Either way, We'll be looking out for you.
