Tom Mayo had a good idea so here is a map of the Blade Show area and the surrounding highways thanks to mapquest.com

If you are travelling on I-75 South you will be approaching from top left center.

The exit off of 285 will be be labled Cobb Parkway and Highway 41.

That black blob is where you want to be.

gus,
i used to live in the area when i was a wee lad,but its been a while, so its good to have a map like this. see you there.

BTW- there wouldnt happen to be a map of the actual show, would there? how are the rooms divided up,etc.

You know, Tom could not even provide a map like that when he had me come over to his house!

Now granted, the North Shore of Oahu is not like metropolitan Atlanta but.......
A little more directions than: "Look for this big rock, make a left, then go three houses until you see this old VW van with surf racks, unless its Tuesday, then Lenny is over in Ewa Beach, so instead go two more houses until you get to a corner house that has two black dogs, make a right, then look for the house that has a sign that says "Kapu", thats not my house. Mine is on the street that is two more lefts on the right hand side after the third house which is yellow and has a chain link fence. Give me a call if you get lost and can't find it! Oh! Unless its around four pm then I am at the post office so just park two houses down from mine on the right and honk your horn twice, my wife should be home and will open the gate. Unless its Friday then she is at yoga class so just wait, I'll be there soon."

Did'nt even need all that, I just asked some guy on the street where the guy is that makes the best knives in Hawaii, he did'nt know who I was talking about, but he said I do know this ex-surfer who has a HUGE gun collection and reconditions Sebenza's better than new.

Sorry Tom, I just could'nt resist!

(Actually the directions he gave me were so good it was scary, found it the first time and remembered where it was the second time I visited a year later. And if you have never been to the North Shore of Oahu, thats saying a lot for the accuracy of Tom's directions.)

NEVER a DULL moment (or knife) with Tom. Every pun intended!
