Spent a little time with Chris and Anne's son talking about it and handling one of the prototypes of the Mnandi. It is a fantastic small knife and is on my list of a must have. (maybe even one for my dad and brother too.)
The action on this knife is extreamly smooth.
Lock-up is exactly what you would expect from Chris' shop and it has some great looks and lines to it.

I have been a big Chris Reeve fan since the first show I met him and got to handle a Sebenza, but as well made as the knives were and the outstanding attitude of Chris I just could never fall in love with a Benza.
The Mnandi on the other hand is a beautiful knife, excellent workmanship and all you could want from a gents knife. Even Chris has given up carrying his wood inlay Benza for a Mnandi.
CRK has a real winner and they are going to have one heck of a time keeping up with demand for this one.

Mnandi- a sweet knife it is!!! I had one of the prototypes here with me for almost a week... I really did not want to send it back!!! I like it, it is about the right size to do whatever my small sebenza will do but in a more dressy package. Totally non-threatening too A winner for sure!

The thing that kinda worried me was how (I've heard) the inlay overlaps the lock bar. Did you think that it would be possible to snap it out of place should you depress the lock bar too far?
