Just wondering what is best for payments at Blade Show. Are most makers able to accept credit card payments at Blade? Should I instead just bring cash?

Inquiring minds want to know! :)

Thanks folks.

Can't go wrong with cash. I have never been rejected while waving green:)

Cash talks louder as well when bargaining, seller don't watch the plastic in your hand but when you fan the green....it does catch the eye, especially on the last day.

Well, I guess wearing a money belt will make for a more interesting flight! :p

Thanks guys!

As has been said: Kash is King! And if you can bring it with you, even better - those ATM machines on the lower level have been known to run dry on a regular basis! ;)

Cash can often get you a better price. In fact if I order a custom at a show, I have offered to pay cash upfront if I highly trust the maker. That has gotten me a 15-20% discount. You have to be careful with this of course, because once you've paid in full the maker has no incentive to deliver in timely fashion, but it has worked for me, and I think helps makers keep going in what must be a tough business.
