I posted this in the ESEE forum, but I thought you guys might like to see it too.
I didn't take many, but here they are.
Andy at the table. Tim Stetzer stopped by to chit chat on the regular. Heluva nice guy and he DEFINITELY knows his stuff.
The Fiddleback side of the table
aaand the Fletcher Knives side
I actually took 15 knives with me, but only kept one of each model on the table at a time.
Whitty, Kevin, Josh and myself were hanging around outside... and who walks up? Ken Onion. I was playing with my new ZT knife and he came over and asked me what I thought about it. That sparked a 2 hour convo about all kinds of crap. It was fun times. Ken is a great dude. I chatted with him several times throughout the weekend and he was always nothing but nice.
In the afternoon on Saturday, a funny, laid back Ethan Becker strolled over to sign a book for me. I had asked him on Thursday to do it if he had time at some point during the weekend. He signed my book and then began perusing the Flethcer Knives on the table. He picked all of them up, but he seemed to have a serious problem putting the Pocket Kilo back down.
He asked me if I had sheaths for them and I said, "well check out this one I made for my personal knife." and handed him my Kilo with a kydex sheath. He played with it for a minute and said, "How much is this?" I told him and he said, "I have to have this. This knife screems to me that I have to buy it. It's just a great knife!" Luckily I was quick enough to snap a shot of the transaction. This pictures goin' up on the website.
Later on throughout the night, Ethan would stop me and introduce to someone new while handing my knife to them. I was very happy that my knife had made such an impression on him and that he liked it so much. Ethan is a cool dude and I had a great time hanging out with him in the pit and outside.
So those are my pictures.
