I also bought a display chest from Forrest Bogg for the new Hanson fighter and it can be seen on the right of this photo. This shows how I prominently display some of my favorite knives on my desk and can see them whenever using the computer. Tomway folder case on the left.

Don and I cut out a layer from the foam in order to keep the knife from pressing against the glass. In the end, it worked out nicely.

WOW! There's some Hanson goodness. The fighter looks great in the case! The blade on the slip is incredible and I like Don adding the DH to his damascus on the bolster (at least I haven't noticed this before).

The Foster laminate is sweet score as well. All of them are!

Did you have to sell your soul for that?
Anyway, congratulations, I love the hamon on that Burt Foster, I could spend hours watching it

Jon, I see that you and your knives got home safely!

It was nice spending time with with you at the BLADE Show.
See you next year!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Muddy, the folder is actually a linerlock. It definately has a shape that makes it look like a slip joint.

Those are all beautiful, beautiful knives!! And those display cases are incredible!

That's a fuctional knife collector's set-up if I have ever seen one.
Love those Boggs display cases. They work great hung on walls too.

I have a feeling some of that Hanson steel (folder) is in my near future.

Great show for you Jon.

Jon, congrats on a few amazing knives. At your age I was playing around with other stuff then knives and you have already put together a very nice collection. Go figure when you are my age (53) what your collection will look like:thumbup: (Man...sometimes I wish I started collecting knives three decades earlier with makers like Smith, Cronk, Bartrug to name a few still around and making knives.)

Very nice display too:cool::thumbup:

Marcel

Thanks all. I am proud to have brought these knives home, and it really jump starts my fixed blade collecting.

Jon, like everyone else here I am also impressed with your fortitude. Now that you gave us a peek into your office, I see it's meticulous. I'm NOT surprised. You love quality.

Shhhhh, Don. I told Jon to keep me on the down low.... ;)

John great knives and it was nice getting to meet you. I think Don is right you are dangerous;):thumbup:

That is quite a line-up Jon. I also noticed what an organized desk you have. Very cool and thanks for showing it.

You rock Jon!!!

I don't know if anybody else noticed your fancy ass crystal/rocks on display. Equally as cool as the knives... just a different scope.

I am glad to see you get into some fixed blades to round out that VERY nice collection you have building up.

Just think, by the time you are my age, you might have a Wheeler fighter in there... HAHAHA! :D

Thanks for posting these my friend.  :)

I moved the pile of papers and note pads away for the shot. It is not always that neat. It also gets moved around and experimented with alot.

This is the corner across from the knives. I have always had some kind of collecting bug.
