I am attending the Blade Show for the first time this year. I just have a couple question and am wondering what to expect...

Can I carry a concealed weapon (pistol) inside the venue?

Can I carry a back-pack to hold some of my gear such as knives and other stuff?

Can I re-enter the show if I want to leave for lunch or some other reason without having to pay for re-admission?

I purchased an Early Bird ticket so will it be like "Black Friday" at Target/Wal-Mart when the doors are opened? Do people act like crazed animals and take off sprinting to their favorite vendors to get first picks on scarce items??? (I hope not)

If anyone can help answer any of these question I have it would be greatly appreciated. Any other advice for a newbie is wanted as well. Thanks!!!

I posted a link to there contact info but then noticed it was for 2012 Blade so removed it.

I seem to recall no, but I'm not sure.

From a more general perspective, one always has to ask if a gun would actually be usable in a venue. Can you, would you, open fire in a very crowded room? Or does the gun become just another weight to carry?

Yes. Most carry some sort of bag. But keep it small. Think maneuverability in a crowded room. Also, keep in mind that you will be lugging it around all day.

Yes

Oh yes, they do.

Bring a water bottle. Water is expensive in the show.

If you are not accustomed to being on your feet all day, then bring two pairs of shoes and plan to change shoes between days. Your feet will appreciate the diversity.

Georgia has a ccw reciprocity with Kentucky. If you have a Kentucky permit, you can carry in Georgia. If the event personnel or venue forbids it, you can not. I went to an event earlier this month at Cobb Energy Center, part of the same complex. Security was pretty much non-existent. Inside the venue you are safe. It's near Atlanta, so it's outside the main venue area is the sketchy place.
Again, wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Carry water and plenty of money.
