I'm thinking about going to the blade show that will be in Atlanta June 5-7, never been to one and have a couple questions.

Anyone know if the BK21 aka RBK will be on display, or even at least a prototype would be good. Wouldn't mind seeing and handling one.

Thinking about going for at least one day, is any one day considered the best day to go or is this something that takes more than one day to get the most out of it.

If you want to see everything and talk to all the people you want to talk to, one day isn't going to cut it. (Its really that big) as far as the days, if you can only pick one, Saturday has to most going on.

As far as what will be at the Kabar booth concerning new stuff, they usually play that hand pretty close to there chest, so I dont know. But come, you wont regret it. Come by and see the T.M.Hunt booth at 11AA while your at it. It will be right around the corner from Ethan and the Kabar booth.

We're going to try to make it. From NC I think it's around 6hrs from RDU area. I'm 20min north of I85. We'll leave Fri night and hit the hotel, spend one day at Blade Saturday and check out some stuff in Atl Sunday before leaving. I think one day will be fine for our 1st time and I'll have the wife and daughter. All I want to do is check out Ka-Bar of course, then meet any and all folks from the board that I can find, anything after that is icing. If I can get out with less than $200 I'll be happy lol.
It would be great if folks can just post they're info in this thread for easy reference to make sure we can make it over and say hey and check out ur goods!
Thank for posting this coldone as I was wondering the same. But with a one dayx3 it'll free up a bit of spending money :)

Ok, I believe I will go to Atlanta Friday night after work so I can be at blade when it opens Saturday morning.

TMHunt, thanks for the info, will have to come by and check out your booth.

NCSlice, wouldn't mind meeting you and your family at the show, if my wife is able to come, she'll have someone to talk to then also.

Soon as I find out if the wife can go, I'm buying tickets. Gonna be a good time, so many different knife companies, like SMKW on steriods.
Got my blade show questions answered, now just one big question left, how much can I spend before the wife cuts me off?! :)

Cool! Easy enough to just meet up at the KaBar booth, that's where I'll head 1st thing :D

I must say though, my wife will be almost as interested in the show as me, or she'll fake it good haha for my sake, she's good like that

KaBar/Ethan has said that "if the blade is not in production they will not show it"...

it might BE THERE...

and it had damn well better be :D because i need to see it.

There will be at least one there, I'm bringing mine.

Blade is always fun. Friday is my favorite day as there are more knives unsold. I usually just spend the day and drive home and if I want to go back, I drive back the next day. Knoxville to north Atlanta isn't a bad drive as long as there are no accidents. The construction has lessened.
