Blade Show score

Awesome unique 31! There was a crowd around the CRK booth when I got into the show. I finally got to handle an Inyoni and now regret not buying one.

When you go to Blade are the knives the same price if bought from CRK direct through their website? I was curious what the benefit is other than getting it right away or having Tim sign the box?

Buy a 21 and you’ll be much happier. They are much smoother from all the models I’ve held and experienced. The 31s are stiff as hell out of the box and take a long time to break in, they do eventually break in but it takes a while. You can still get a new in box large 21 for about $500-$600 and a small 21 from $450-$500.

What’s wrong with 31’s, I can flick blade out of mine!

I’m not saying anything is wrong with the 31s. It’s just my personal opinion and experience that the 21s are smoother overall with the same great lockup. I own lots of 31s lol.

Here’s the primary difference from what I’ve experienced. When you depress the lockbar on the 21s (large or small) most of them drop down quickly and more freely than the 31s but still have 100% solid lockup when open. I have 31s that are new in box and they don’t move at all and I have to manual close the blade. It’s a small difference but just my experience and opinion.
