I figured we needed a thread for posting Blade Show scores.

I came for a pig sword and my mission was a huge success! It feels so much lighter in the hand than I expected, its' truly vicious in all the best ways possible. While here at the show I happened to notice what shall now be referred to as the "pig gladius". It's a pig sword blank that is shortened (it's now about bout 9") and has the utterly awesome grind that can be seen in the picture. Nathan told me that he was fairly drunk when he ground it which definitely makes it all the better. I'll take better pictures later, but to get the thread started here you go with the requisite blade show window ledge pic. Cheers!

I spent longer in line than I did in the show. Missed most of the special stuff at CPK’s table, but got to see the good folks (and Nathan) and say hello. Then I grabbed a Demko, took a peak at the Spyderco proto case and a couple other tables before I bid farewell to those good folks mentioned above and got out with my wallet mostly intact.

Was Tanto there? I really want to see if anyone got pics of Tanto!

I made it down to Atlanta this year. I picked up these two. A Chris reeves large Inkosi and a knife I thought looked really good made by "Empty Tomb Forge"

Sweet score! I remember when I first saw a CRK exactly like that and got to put it in-hand when I visited Monkey Edge out in Phoenix a number of years ago. Always wanted to get one like that ever since. Never did though because I'm more into fixies now than folders..... speaking of which, that's a great looking fixed blade you got! Congrats!

All of the big blades, the EDC(s?) and Reapers were gone. There were some hand ground BFKs and DEK2s along with the regulars marvels of steel, but I didn’t even have an early bird ticket this year so I was pleased to see anything hand-ground/specialty still available.
