Admittedly, I was pretty slacking on the pic department at Blade Show, and I'm sorry for that. Now that I'm home, I just took a few pics of my favorite scores from the show. There were two different offerings with competition finishes at the show, an ASH-2 and a TGM, each offered with two different handle materials. I have to say that my favorite score is the ASH-2, with the TGM a not too distant second. I'm really happy to see that there was come comp finish at the show, even if only in very limited quantities. Hopefully, there will be more of it to come in future offerings! I also scored a Custom Shop Boss Jack that I really like. A couple of the Busse employees were saying that the Boss Jack is their favorite knife, and after holding it I can see why. For me, it has pretty near the perfect ratio in terms of blade to handle, and the balance is excellent. I have never brought myself to actually use any blades with mammoth scales, but maybe this time will be different. Everybody should own a little mammoth. For your viewing pleasure, here are some pics.

Nice I like them all we got 2 Ash 2, and a TGM. The boss jack is a classic and that one is awesome

Some really sweet scores !!!!! Congrats !!

The Boss Jack I have to say is one of my favorites :-) followed close by the Boss Street.

Oooh that ASH-2...
If they'd been offered in Comp or B.I.G. during O2W I would NOT have been able to pass!

Congrats Truffle Hunter!!!

Three great truffles :p

I ended up with CF ASH2 and a Boss Street Custom..........I never could snag a CF TGM
I also came away with a couple cool folders.
It was a great weekend

Those are awesome, I am especially fond of that CF TGM (I need to get to Blade next year).

Very nice, cream of the crop right there.

Blade was a good time and you came out of the trough a champ!

I was not a huge fan of the Boss Jack either until I got one and changed my mind. It's one of my favorites. Looks like you have the LE thickness along with those wicked handles. Really nice AND super unique too. I heard there was at least one other Boss Jack too!

ASH2: I haven't spent any time with one of those to know, but the black handles definitely rock. I am into plain and basic finishes mostly. Hopefully sometime in the not to distant future, I'll get my hands on an ASH2 and see what all of the fuss is about??

The TGM was also one of those I thought didn't look right as a shortie, but I did manage to catch one in Comp finish and my poor attitude towards them was forever altered. It's super cool and the red G10 version trumps the tan micarta in my book. If they only offerred black micarta or black G10, it would have made my day!

Those are awesome. Favorite still is the Boss Jack. Thanks for sending a lucky golden ticket my way!

I really like that competion finish. Is that the step behind a satin finish? (I don't mean that satin is better. I'm talking degree of how polished it is compared to a satin finish)

Great scores!
came away heavy with INFI goodness and light on cash- but it was a great time.

Congrats and thx for the pics!

The scales on that BOSS Jack are incredible.

Not at all in the same class, but I'm really looking foward to the BG version.

Thanks guys! With my new Hog name, every time I score a blade I will do the truffle shuffle. Actually, no I won't, but that would be pretty damn funny.
