Do we have to pass through any kind of screening to get in the show? Do you have to show or get tagged whatever you bring in? Being a gun show fanatic, I'm used to it, but wanted to know if I need to pack any weapons I bring with me so thay can be readily checked.

Obviously, this will be my 1st Blade.

Am really looking forward to putting more faces with names from the forums.

See you there

Hi G19G26!

Guess you could call me G27G36 but this isn't about neat plastic Austrian pistols.....but I digress!
Check your email.
It would take all day to go through all the stuff people will be carrying into the show. I'd have to guess there's been a minimum of problems in the past. Maybe someone could address that point....I've only been there 2002-04. The only problems I'm aware of during those years were a couple of thefts that were announced over the loudspeakers:confused:

Stay safe and maybe see you there ( be sure to come to "The Pit" in the evening! ):D

There was no security other than a door guard that checked passes when I was there. I bought two knives, went to lunch, and walked back in the show with the bag. He never even looked at it.

Mmmhmm, guess I'll have to test those Shomer-Tec products out at Fogo...

What are you drinking??

(and I hadn't heard of that doctrine before, the Terry Search. Found out a lot looking into it. So, no, not my favorite colour..)

Remind me to sit on the opposite end of the table from you if you are bringing Shomer-Tec toys!

The Terry search is one of the most basic in LE man and IIRC, it hails from a case in your own state, ie Terry v. Ohio. :D

Knew the premise, just not the "proper" name.

Always loved hearing the stories of the people who thought "hey, they had no right to search me!"

Ok, I learned something new :) Not sure where I will use it in daily conversation. Then again I have a co-worker that forces himself to use a new word out of the dictionary every week....it's like having Webster across the table :D

I think you might have to hang around cops to be able to use the "Terry Stop" reference without people looking at you funny. :D
