Blade Show Shoutout

Gang,

The Blade Show is always a great experience and love seeing all the new toys. I usually spend entirely too much money at the Busse table, but this year was a bit different. Opening day I only went after two knives out on the table. A custom shop cultellus and a custom shop muskrat. I scored both of the knives and was happy with what I got considering how fast the table was cleared this year. I caught a pair of cards for one of the lil' smokies and a vex with the new hammered finish.

Saturday afternoon rolls around and I decide to close out my box. When they bring out the box, there was only the two knives from the cards. Josh and Shaely (I know I likely spelled that wrong) looked for the missing knives but were not able to find the originals. They took time out of the busy afternoon to attempt to find the two small knives that I had grabbed during the opening. Unfortunately they couldn't find the knives I had snagged, but they did end up finding another cutellus that someone had put back. I told them not to worry, its just stuff. You can always get more stuff.

I got a text the next afternoon from another hog who was able to be there Sunday morning when the remainder of the knives were put out and he scooped up the muskrat. He sent over pictures and low and behold it was the one. I would like to publicly thank that hog for snagging the knife and offering it over to me. So thanks again to a all around good guy, the forums own DericDesmond. Another hog apparently snagged the cutellus, so I hope he gets to enjoy it as much as I would.

Send me a e-mail, I think I have the Culti, as far as I or anyone knew at the booth they were left overs.
As much as I was stocked to get it, If you want it, I will let you have it though.
 
Wow. I agree, we've got a great group of hogs here. I've dealt with both of them personally as well, and they've always done me right.


PLEASE don't forget the pics of said blades when it's all said and done. They sound great. Really happy to hear there are still new Muskrats being sold as well. :)
 
I've bought 2 knives from Eric including my first Busse, great guy to deal with and not too bad a sheath maker too👍

Glad the knives are finding their way to you after all, post some pics once you get them.
 
John has decided he is fine with the replacement Culti, they found for him saturday so the red and black g-rex one I got Sunday ( not knowing it belonged to anyone )will be staying in Utah :)
I did offer it to him at what I paid for it, but did say I really liked it.
