I'm not quite sure where to post this, but here seems appropriate.

I want to thank everyone at Blade who had interaction with my daughter Kimberly, the little Brunette in the wheelchair. She had a blast! It was her third consecutive Blade, and the best one yet.

In particular, I want to thank Jerry Busse, Amy O, Bobby Branton, Chris Reeve, John Greco, and Mark Sentz. You all added greatly to her experience, and your kindnesses to her will never be forgotten. To the young couple who helped her when she missed our rendezvous point and became upset, thank you, although I didn't get your names.

Kimberly's birthday is today, June 19. She is 25. Blade was a great gift.

There are not many venues where I would let her roam around unattended.
I had no worries at Blade, as long as she stayed in the Exhibition Hall. She really enjoys the rare opportunities she gets to feel independent. I told her that if anyone attempted anything untoward with her, there were many people around who would gladly cut their throat, and were well equipped to do it.:D

Mike, It is always a pleasure to see you and Kimberly. I don't know if you saw my face when I saw her walk past me in her walker, but I was grinning from ear to ear because you told me a few years back that she would walk again and I was praying that she would. Stay strong and tell Kimberly that we will continue to keep her in our prayers.

MikeH it was great to meet all of you, special thanks to eric isaacson who introduced me to lots of people!

Hello Mike,

My wife helped Kim find you and I wanted to tell you that it was a great treat to get to meet Kim and our pleasure to help her. All my son wanted for the rest of the show was to see Kim, she hit it off with him right from the moment that she stopped at our table.

Kim asked us to write to her but we did not get the adress, if it would be OK with you my wife would like to write to Kim our email is info@eddiejbaca.com.

Kim told us it was her 25th birthday on Monday, I hope she had a great day.

Sincerely

Eddie Baca

Thank you!

We enjoyed meeting Kim and she even came back the next day to visit. I just went through and read all I could find about Kim on this forum and I must tell you that she is incredible, I was familiar with her story but it was great to read all of the wonderful things that you have posted about her. My family like yours has a lot of faith in God and my wife believes that everything happens for a reason, maybe Kim got lost just so that we could meet her. we have truly been touched by her and her story.

Please tell Kim hello for us and we look forward to seeing her next year at Blade show. I am also sure that my wife will be in touch with Kim.

Eddie
