Blade Show - "The Pit"

Ok, I'm not sure this is the appropriate place to post this, but I'm sure it'll be moved if not...

Anyway...I've been reading everything I can about the BLADE show and have come across loads of references to "THE PIT". People plan to meet in "THE PIT"....people talk about trading/selling in "THE PIT", people talk about...well, there's discussion about all sorts of things happening in "THE PIT". :jerkit:

But I haven't seen any mention of what "THE PIT" actually is. Looking at the floor plan for the Galleria, there appears to be a bar that's accesible. Is that the "PIT"?

I'll be driving up to in the morning with a pocket full of money and plastic...and want to make sure I'm not missing out on the best of the show.

So, who can shed some light on this...for a show newbie?

I am not sure what that means, but the blade show is always packed full of people. maybe thats what they mean, the showroom.

The pit is the concession area at the bottom of the escalators. Some demos occur there as well druing the show or they have in the past like sword fighting.
