It was the first time I made it to the Blade Show and I must say it was truly awesome! The SOG folks were great and I got to meet Spencer Frazer and he showed me all the new blades SOG is comming out with soon!!:)
 
Ron, it was AWESOME!!!!! Very smooth and locked up solid! Alot of fun to play with! I forgot the name of the small gents vresion but that is also a sweet little blade! Spencer said that SOG has mastered the lockback with that knife and I think you got it right!!! I'm going to get both as soon as they hit the market!!!!:D

P.S. Spencer was great to talk to. Ron, you should tell him to stop by the forum from time to time!;)
 
Wouldn't it be nice if someone out there could post a few shots of the SOG-K booth at any knife show from this day on.

Hey Chris,

The little Gent lockback knife you're referencing is the Blink. I have three on order. :)

I've been very amazed by how nicely these assisted openers are working.

How about more details of the new blades? Were you able to see the elusive field knife ;)
 
Boy I wish I could post a few pics, I can't right now but I'll figure it out soon I hope!

I didn't get to hold the Field knife because it was in the main display case for display only but it sure looked nice!:)
 
I thought it was the field knife? I did see the new Kydex and leather sheath and it looked great!
 
I have a Field knife. It is bigger than I thought, a very solid and and serious knife.
I'd post a pic... BUT
1) I'm still awaiting the arrival of my digital camera, I HATE waiting:( !!!
2) It is currently en route to Bodycote for BC coating :D . I have some Cocobolo that will make nice handles...:eek:

I had a great time talking to Spenser Frazier at the show. I appreciated that he took the time to listen as well as to speak. I saw all the new stuff. I really like the field knife and the Blink. They will soon be mine.

Thanks Ron. I didn't find it in "usual places" on the net, that's why I thought it wasn't out yet.
