This year at the Oregon Collectors Show in Eugene I was talking with one of the local (Seattle) bladesmiths and the chance of a West Coast Blade show returning was part of the conversation. Now I see that it's actually happening.

October is the last of the nice weather in this part of the world (unless you're a banana slug) and inside diversions, like knife shows, are to be cherished.

I don't go to Atlanta anymore, but I'll be in Portland 5-7 OCT looking to do my Christmas shopping!

I wish I had more info. I'm very disappointed that there's not more about this show available. The only excuse I can see as viable right now is that the Blade show itself is taking up the promoters time. I'm hoping after that show is done we can get more info, to include a list of those who'll be there. It's not easy starting up a show, and the bigger vendors pay a lot to have a presence in both booth costs as well as staffing and travel expenses. A show has to be profitable to get makers to attend.

I missed Eugene this year so I'm exciited to get a 2nd chance to see all the goodies. I hope Spyderco attends seeing their upcoming projects is always great, and on the traditional end GEC is always a favorite stop.
