Ok I am a bad bad person because I forgot to take photos. But here are 2 observations from today:

1. Birdvis knives are some fantastic slippies!!! I told the maker he should get on BF because I don't see his stuff mentioned much & they are very very nice!

2. WE is coming out with some small traditional style lockbacks, like stylized mini 110s with c.f. bolsters and micarta scales, and they are drool worthy.

Birdvis is/was a member here. He started out recovering/modding knives for people. Once he started making his own, he moved away from BF.

I follow him on IG, and his work sure is pretty.

I'll have to keep an eye out for the WE knives traditionals. I'm not particularly fond of their stuff, but I love a small lockback.

Is anyone there today who could take a pic of the WE lockbacks and get specs? I feel so dumb for not doing so yesterday. The quality was very nice

I was super stoked to see birdvis. His was the table I wanted to see most. Really nice stuff.

ZT has a slipjoint which was really nice.

Kershaw came out with a nice detent knife which, although not a slipjoint, feels "traditional somehow, like CKs Vipers. I can't remember the name, but they released it the day before or the day of Blade Show West. It may appeal to some folks here on the Porch.

WE has em posted on IG. I like them but since lurking around you all for the last year I'm really just wishing they'd use pins but I know it wouldn't appeal to a large enough audience.

The ones I handled were really nice. Blades maybe 2.75" and lightweight but we'll constructed. I'm not a big lockback fan but these I wanted
