Anyone going? I’m gonna check it out Friday. Want to see if anyone here is gonna be there? It’s in Long Beach California October 8th and 9th. Jim Dunlap will be there and I want to see his work more than one at a time :). Wondering what other traditional makers might be there also.

I'll be there both days, already have tickets and the Airbnb 😁

Long Beach is just a short drive away for me so even though CRK isn’t going to be there I might stop by for a day 😄

I will be at jim dunlaps table checking out his knives come next Friday morning early. I will be the guy with all the drool hanging out of the corners of his mouth 😂 but seriously I will wear a ball cap that says Gorman 4x4 area on it. If your around say hey.
Scratch that make it a blaze orange cap that says Purina dog food

I’m going, woohoo! I wasn’t sure I’d be able to but work was cancelled Saturday, thank you snow.

I will most likely be attending on Saturday if all goes well. Looking forward to to checking out many makers including Birdvis!

At the AirBnB in Long Beach, ready for the show tomorrow 🥳

So that was a fun show, nice to talk to knife makers, and lots of nice customs. I did not get myself anything but I did get my son a butterfly knife trainer, definitely the coolest next thing to get banned from all schools.

Yeah I enjoyed the morning I spent there Friday. Saw Jim Dunlap, Luke Swenson, Tim Robertson and Tobin Hill and all the traditional knives laid out. Had a bulging wallet but nothing moved me enough to reach for it. Bought some scale material from Turnage, and ordered a new piece from Jim. Great to meet him in person finally. Great guy.
Walked around a bit more after but had to run to an eye doctor appt….nice morning anyway. Beats work...I was playin hookey. :)
