I am going to my first Blade show in two weeks! :D
Will I be able to find deals on production knives? Will the deals approach web dealer prices? Does Chris Reeve sell Sebenzas at MSRP or some discount? Does CRKT sell knives at the Blade show?

For example, let's say I want to buy a certain name brand knife with a MSRP of $25.00 but an internet "street price" of around $18 (plus $3-$6 S&H for a total of $21-$24 delivered). Am I likely to find that knife at the Blade show for less than the $24 it would cost to order it on-line?

Thank you for sharing your experience with me.

Maybe . . .;)

There is, unfortunately, no "pat" answer for your question. Normally, the big production companies do not sell their knives at blade . . . just display. Many times, the companies selling production knives at Blade are asking prices much higher than internet pricing. THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS TO BOTH OF THESE!!
Last year I picked up a new commander for under $100!! :D

The real appeal of Blade is the "fondle factor"!;) You will get to see and hold models that have not hit the market yet and try ones that you have only drooled over. The best "deals" are with custom makers! If you are at the right place at the right time, you can get a knife that you would have to wait YEARS for otherwise. The most fun part of Blade is the PEOPLE!! No DOUBT!!:D :D :D

It's a mix of prices. A lot of knives will be at their regular internet prices. Some people will be asking too much, and some will sell them for real cheap. I got a brand new Mini-AFCK last year for $50.
