Hey guys,

Is blade show awesome? Lived in Atlanta most of my life, been in to knives since I was six and my dad gave me my first one, yet never been to blade show. Is it something I should start saving $25 a week for now and make the 35 minute drive down to a week before my bday next year? Good dels or just expensive knives that are more of a museum experience?

Thanks folks!
Caleb

I'm in the same boat. I wouldn't mind checking out the new knives, but quite frainkly I hate people. Actualy I hate crowds of people. I get horrible social anxiety, so I think I'm content with viewing them on the computer, or going to the gun shops and browsing their very limited selections. Who knows though, I've got a while to change my mind.

Id go just to see first hand whats new for the year. If i lived in Atlanta it would save me alot of time on YouTube.

Yes it is worth it. Been to every BLADE show since it moved to Atlanta.

SadSappySucker - if you have anxiety in large crowds it would definitely trip your trigger. Lots of people an crowds around the popular booths/tables.

Yes, it's better than Disneyland. But be prepared to suffer. It's hard to keep things in perspective when everything you ever wanted is right in front of you. You can spend $10000 in a couple hours, easy.

I live in the N Atlanta area, but I haven't been to it yet. I would like to go to the next one. Sounds like a pretty awesome show since they have the custom knife makers participating.
