nosa,
My recommendation to you is to use one of the mapping applications to search for places around the Cobb Galleria. All nearby seem OK, but prices vary. Eating joints are up and down the road.
To first time BCCI or Buck knife attenders...
if you are bringing a Buck display you have to contact the club President John Foresman or you will not have a spot. Space is limited and is valued by some. I have cut to half a table and may go to no display if more BCCI folks would bring your knives. And I mean new people, not giving it to the ole guys that always want just one more table. If you display and you set up Thurs. afternoon, be ready for no A/C so you will sweat. Also plan for no electricity for display lights, once in a while you can be lucky and we have a floor plug on one aisle. Friday is the day you can browse the building, and talk to other BCCI people in a calm environment. That is unlikely Saturday. I will also try to take everyone's photograph by their display on Friday or Sunday. We will have a large BCCI sign high in the air so you can always see the way home. You can play it by ear on whether to sit or stand by your display, if at all, no rule says you have to be there. Usually folks gather in groups to talk. Usually up by the large sign or at the entrances to the rows. Wear comfortable shoes. I use a foldable cart to carry 'stuff' from car, usually camera gear , etc. I leave my display cloth covers, my box of tape, paper towels, pliers, etc. under my table. If you are a first timer you will wish you had some type of special table cover under your display. Some guys use fancy covers with printed logs etc. I just use some fake leather under mine that goes to the floor in front. If you want people to have your personal card then you need some of them to lay out by your display. If you have NOT looked over last years Blade Show post I did, go back to last year about late June or July and look over the photos. Two metal chairs will be provided for each table. I bring a nice cushion to sit on, I use my Turkey hunting cushion. Most people have investigated bringing and building a display but if you just have one with no locked door, I would suggest fixing it to lock. Security is good at night but when there is fifty people jammed in the aisle in front of your display you want your own security. Lots of guys bring a light cloth large enough to cover your display at night. If you try to bring in a ice chest bigger than a lunch box you will likely have trouble.
For Buck guys visiting we will be on your right in the rear as you come in front entrance. Right at rear of the used knife sellers. If you see a knife you want and walk away, it likely will be gone when you come back. If you are bringing wife and kids, especially little ones be prepared for crowded conditions. Usually only a small area of chairs and tables to eat at are available. If you want some knife building stuff, or sheaths or polishing crème or stuff you buy, write it down on note paper and put it in your pocket. You will be overstimulated upon entering and will not remember. BCCI custom knives will be viewed under big sign. Restrooms are at the front wall/entrance if need be go before you get caught in the crowd and endless knife stimulation. Over in the Tech. area there will be girls in tight shirts and they will give away stuff every hour and shoot off canons that can scare babies and kids. The Buck knife factory booth is against the front wall about the middle. CJ will sign your knife if he is present at that moment.
