Hi there!!:)
Just wanted to take a minute and thank Mick and Duane for letting me help out in the booth for the 3 days...it was awesome! I got to watch the hijinks of the Tom and Jerry show w/ Rob's influence as well. Also, big deal for me - got to meet and visit with Paul Bos, a true gentleman and a lot of fun!:D
To: Sandy, Rex& Tuwan, Ryan, Dean, Tatoo, Eric, Matt D., Lewis C and EVERYONE ELSE...thanks a lot for coming by and saying hi.
The STRIDER BOOTH ROCKED!!! Of course the Guiness and Scotch didn't hurt...well, maybe it hurt Duane...but who's counting.

can't wait till the next time,
Stay Safe all,
Joe

Goes to show you...you just can't keep everybody HAPPY!!
Just kidding...my high dollar SONY was still by the door in Houston where I left it...whoops. Yoshi took lots of shots and the BATTLE BLADES comp among the guys rocked!!! Mick's entry took top honors after the smoke cleared...but everyone of the entries was absolutely a piece of ART!
Maybe someone will post some images...Shelby where were you???:(
Joe

Great to meet you also Joe. MattLUDT thanks for the sheath.
It was a pleasure to meet Mick/Duane and Ryan also.

OK Joe, where's my damned calculator? :)

It was great meeting you. The Badlands booth was an incredible experience for everyone there I think. Certainly it was for me.

The voting for Mick's Battle Blade was unanimous, though one of the two Hawaiian weenies might have wimpered a little. :D It is one seriously kickass blade. On that we all areed.

Great time, and we've already started planning next year, so it will be even better and the Battle Blade competition will get even more intense. There are five humbled knifemakers who don't plan on being second again!

Joe, the pleasure was all mine to meet you Mick, Duane, Ryan, Rob, Tom, Jerry and Matt, great row of tables with trully great guys. With knives that were trully outstanding, for those who saw and looked at them at the show know what I mean, for those that have to "suffer" with the pictures, I only hope that they do the knives justice. Can't say that I had a great time enough, hope to make it next year. And if your in the Bragg area please use the # on the card.
Take care, Dean

It was great to see and hold so many Strider blades at one time and even better to meat the people behind the blades!:D

Mick, Joe and Duane together during a brief moment in time when you could actually see all three through the mob that was constantly packed in front of them.

Note the bags under Mick's eyes, Joes eyes are pretty clear considering, and Duane wasn't able to handle flashes that early in the day - 3PM! :)

Nice to finally put a face to the fella I have been doing business with! :D :D :D

I appreciate that one Mr. Hossum.

so attractive....???! What you can't see in the pix was one of the Tirani girls under the table trying to get a Sky Blue (not ours!) out of the cooler! Well, I THINK! she was trying to get a drink out of the cooler! The fact that there are only knives on the table indicates the time of day...no coffee I mean. Gosh, what are you guys thinking...
Thanks again for the pix Jerry and really the calculator is in the box!
All the best,
Joe
p.s. Ahem, Jerry I notice that YOU are not looking directly at the camera...did you give that girl your REAL name - she did look pretty young.

Joe, my wife took that pic, so I think you are the one who needs to come up with the answers here! :D

Damn!! Mayo warned me that you could come up with a quick answer!!! Rats! So, this was the same 17 yr old wife from the day before???
Just checking...thanks for the pix, at least wherever I WAS, I was with Mick and Duane! Whew...dodged that bullet!
Take Care,
Joe

Joe,
It was great to finally meet you in person. That was my first Blade show and I had a blast. I am already planning and saving for next year.
