How is the knives going to be sold this year?
Same way as last year?
Thanks

Would like to hear more about this as this will be my first year attending Blade???

Me too... exactly how does it work? One lottery for each day and you have to stick around until the drawing? Or notified via e-mail? Lottery for each knife available and you put in for that particular knife? Put in for multiple knives?

Last year, I just dropped by his table. I recall filling out some cards, so that was probably an element of it. And there was a period each day when the winners were announced. If your name was called first, you could literally choose anything you could afford.

I got lucky. Twice. I'm still smiling.:)

It was all very simple and above board. Rick was there and he was quite easy to chat with.

In past years there has been a pack of playing cards. You pick a card and rip it in half, one half is placed in a basket and you keep the other half. At the appointed time on Fri. and Sat. we drew cards from the basket. If your half-card is drawn you could choose a knife off the table and pay for it. If noone claims the card another card was drawn. Rick will have a booth again this year to allow a liitle more aisle room and reduce the disruption to surrounding tables. See you there!

I sure hope my dealer gets a lucky card...He's going to the blade show.
Maybe this is my chance to get an other nice one too if he scores.

In case one's lucky enough to win the lottery, how's usually made the payment? Only by cash or possibly by credit card? I'm just curious, as this is my first time at Blade, I come in from Europe and don't like the idea to take one or two Ks of cash with me...
Thanks!

Cash is king at any show.
There are a good many sellers that will not be able to take a CC at the show.
Plus you will have many guys selling around the show that would have to be cash.

Rick is not set up for Credit cards at the show. Cash is the method of Payment
