Anyone going to the show next week be sure and stop by our booth # 160 and chat. Robert Young Pelton will be there, as well as Mike and Katie Beckett, Shon and Becky Rowen, Mike Perrin and myself. If anyone has a RYP book that needs signing, please bring it with you. Not sure how we're going to do giveaways this year but most likley you will need to drop by and pick up a ticket and we should have several drawings thoughout the show.

Katie will be wearing her fancy "Mrs. S" ESEE shirts, I'll be the fat bald guy, Jeff will be wearing a thong (as usual), Pelton will be picking fights with anyone who talks bad about the HEST, Perrin will be picking fights with everyone else and Becky will be lovely as usual.

Come see how far above our paygrades Shon and I married!:D

Is this show always in ATL?

Wouldn't you know the blade show is the one weekend I have firm plans.

Don't forget my eyes will probably be really blood shot on Saturday. :o

I'll be the guy passed out in front of the booth, covered in magic marker from Friday night stupidity.

I quit drinking after last night. Too much vodka and too much rock and roll.

Yeah... We'll see.

This week and next week is really big for me. I'd be lying if I said I sleep well these days. Life is just too exciting right now and there is so much changing for the positive that I'm a little overwhelmed.

Today is my last day at my job. I'm going full-time knifemaker. We're having a cookout today for my send off. Put that together with my first time going to Blade as a real knifemaker, selling my next batch next week, just everything. It's a lot to take in and doesn't seem totally real yet. Between all of that and Blade show and all the fun that comes with that and getting to see all my homies, I really can't express in words how excited and happy I am.

Most of the big big changes in my life have always carried or been spawned by some sort of huge hardship to overcome. This is probably the first time that my life has taken a drastic turn out of all positive stuff. It feels really good and honestly, I think this is the happiest I've been in decades, with the exception of my wedding. Stoked doesn't cover it. I'm glad that I get to share that positive vibe with all you guys next weekend.

Yep, Pelton accuses me of lying about quitting all the time.

Glad to see things turning good for you. You deserve it, bro. Necessity is the mother of invention ;)
