Your welcome. Here is a picture of 'the sheriff'. He won the Paul Lentz award this year. He was humble and quite surprised by the honor.

Peter, Thats just the way he is (the Sherriff(RD)... The Paul Lentz award is quite and honor among collectors. His wife is alittle more talkative. He went to school not far from us. The guy seated next to Larry is Frank Meeks and has an extensive collection of all stag handled models. Thanks, DM

As ususal the Buck displays were great. There was one I don't remember seeing before with nothing but the 500 "Duke" knife. It was a rather large display with 6 large boxes and 2 small boxes of knives, all of the 500. I met the owner of the knives, Jimmy Halbrook. All I can say is that I was blown away by all the different 500 knives, some of them being rather rare.

Thanks for sharing the pics! Looks like a great time!

Did your Lil Brother have a lapis 112 with him? Hope so :-)

Congratulations Rusty on receiving this much deserved Lentz award. Craig, congratulations to you too. I think you'll bring wise moves to the table in this new Board Member capacity. DM

I second that David. Way to go Rusty and Craig.

Congratulations to Rusty "the Sheriff" for also winning the Single Model Series award and the Presidential Award that's judged by Buck family members and presented by Maralee (Buck) Houser and C.J.

Way to go Rusty, well deserved honors!

I was really surprised and honored to receive the award for Rare/Odd/ 1 of1/prototype this year..Thank you CJ and all my fellow BCCI members !!!! Jim's display of Duke's could/should have won "Best of Show" for the whole event!!! No other club has the presence and quality of displays that the BCCI does in Atlanta...No brag, just fact.I'm really proud to be a small part of it.After looking at all the wonderful, interesting displays other BCCI members have created I'm inspired to make my simple box's of odd 112's better...ITE,don't miss next year!!!

PS...The decision to make the Award knives this year 112's was a GREAT Joe,as the way the sale was held , even if it takes longer...I would like to suggest we increase our meeting time on Saturday next year to 2 hours or even 3 as we would have more quality time together for fellowship and the sale!!!! It's the only time we are all together in one room and after all fellowship is the main reason we all come...I'll bring the coffee!

Good report guys, I will follow up with bunch of photos, ie all the displays and some people shots. Give me till tomorrow night.

PS Only almost got killed 2 times on way back, one was real almost (the word M A C K filled the entire back window), sat in bumper to bumper traffic in Memphis and Little Rock, go figure..
