Guys, I have been working overtime for the last three weeks on work for my website clients as well as private makers who wished to get photos finished before Blade. Only today have I been able to come up for air in the evenings...!

No, I will not be at Blade. This year they will only accomodate but one professional photographer (Point Seven), but I am trying to see if I can change that for next year. Not fair! (Eric will do his usual fantastic work--but so would have I!)

Onward to the knives...!

Tim Britton with a pair of tantos:

Tim Britton forged and created this outstanding hawk. He is VERY diverse!

Dellana has a women's sense of style and a man's sense of function and design. Sole authorship!

The retired Mathews brothers (Twin Blades) are making BIG waves withg their carved knives. Just incredible.

Keith Ouye and C.J. Cai combined talents to create the 'EZ Rider MMVI' folder. The tire can be removed!

Showing their talent once again on 'Aces and Eights' the hand that killed Wild Bill Hickock. (Check out his clips and their profiles!)

Check out these WILD grinds by RJ Martin. Here they are together.

This is NOT going to Blade. But... I had a chance to photograph it. It was like making love to Halle Berry!

Lastly, my favorite is this incredibly beautiful folder by Johhny Stout and engraved by Jim Small. As good as it gets!

There is something here for everybody! Glad to show it off for them.

DAMN!!
And they won't let you in to Blade? Somebody's got a screw loose.
Great photos and great knives!
The stout is gorgeous (not to mention everything else).
Thanks for the post.

That Martin Havoc could reek havoc on the cash supply I take to Blade!! Super folder. Glad to get a peek at that one. Thanks for sharing Coop.

Wow... All of them are beautiful , my faves though are 'Aces and Eights' and

Yeap :)

I agree with Keith. the Herman/Loerchner knife knocks my socks off. and I do believe that I will have to pay a visit to RJ Martin's place sometime after Blade.

Concerning the exclusive photography deal that PointSeven has at Blade:

of course I like their work, and they do a good job, and are nice folks, and I'm sure that the show has reasons for offering them an exclusive deal--not the least of which involves the hassle of the rooms at the Galleria. I have been to the Blade show but once (last year)--and the photogrpahy studio was jammed, the place was crowded, and there was quite a bit of wait. They were clearly having trouble handling the volume--. This is more important than having one exclusive photographer--it involves a service that was not timely. And this service is necessary these days. There certainly would have been enough work for another photogrphy studio, and then some. I think that it would not be a bad idea to give the show organizers a little feedback in this regard.

I have already. Your feedback to the organizers would be most effective.

Thanks to all for the comments!

Terrific knives and photos Coop, but "..like making love to Halle Berry."?? Dude, you DO need to come up for air more often. ;)

Stunning knives and photography. (as usual).

I especially enjoy seeing those Lorchner/Herman collabs.

Those two can really complement eachother's work when they get together.

Not only for providing us the visuals...

But for presenting us with pictures worthy of the objects presented! :D
