OK, looks like Molokai has decided we are after some choppers.....
Beautiful choppers! I the OP is referring to "Blade Sports" which is some sort of cutting competition. It is a bit of an odd set of rules that cause all the knives to look the same. It has appeal for some folks, I suppose.
