I was wondering if anybody with knowledge(knifemakers?) could tell me if I might have a problem with my new blade.I just got in a 1095 production blade that comes finished from factory with parkerizing.I looked at the blade before but never noticed anything, though not thoroughly.I decided to give my knife a Matte black Gun-Koting baked on finish over the phosphate. After finshing,While wiping the knife down under my lamp,if I hit the light at just the right angle I can see a thin line run down from spine pretty much to the edge almost straight, just curved slightly. It is pretty much only visible at a certain angle, and can not be seen from spine or opposite side of blade. Is this just from the factory finish or my finishing?Would something like that be a possible defect in the steel that might fail, snap under use? I don't have a camera, but even if I did it would probably not be seen in a picture it is so light, almost looked like a fold in a piece of paper. It is not deep but looks surface, should I be concerned? Thanks
