Blade steel used for NKCA S&M folders

Hoping someone can let me know what type of steel was used in the NKCA S&M's, 2000 and up, and the general quality. Thanks in advance!

Unless otherwise stated I would bet the blade steel is 420HC. If it is D-2 it will be stamped so. The fit and finish should be good going to the NKCA.
