Blade stop fell out, how to reset?

Knife newbie here, asking for guidance. I have a budget ka-bar folder that needed a little maintenance. During disassembly the blade stop fell out.

Are the blade stops typically press fit or epoxied back in place?

The blade stop in my Urban Trapper just slides through the liners and is held in place by the scales. This could possibly be the case with your knife.
Press fit : Maybe
Epoxy : Highly unlikely.

Thank you for this, I will replace it tomorrow evening. I had assumed it would have been more permanently fixed.
 
I don't know the details on your particular knife, but sometimes they are just slip-fit, so they can rotate a bit, and evenly distribute any wear.
